If you're reading this then you're definitely the curious type so I'll
tell you about our mascot.
Our mascot is a frog. His name is "Stitch". I realize that a frog is an odd
thing to make a mascot for a stitch shop, particularly since we all hate to
"rippit rippit" when we make a mistake counting. But ... there's a reason and
it's purely sentimental.
I have loved frogs my whole life. I never knew why until a couple of years
ago. I was packing up my fathers' things and I found this old photo.
There I am just as little as can be and my Dad is entertaining me with my
grandmother's garden frog.
We're chasing a dream with this shop and my Dad would be proud. He was also very
humorous and loved sarcasm and irony. Hence, "Stitch" the frog.
